Rome In Silver Continues Huge Year, Smoothly Blends Genres On Dynamic ‘Forever Flame’ EP

|||,

California native Rome In Silver has quickly become a site-favorite with his enigmatic style and energetic tracks. The multidimensional artist is continuing an already massive 2020 with his new Forever Flame EP that contains a wide range of influences and sounds.

The EP contains the familiar lead singles, the mercurial and vibrant “Forever,” and funky, feel good track “Friends” (feat. Chæ). Fans of the car-soccer video game Rocket League might recognize the glitchy sounds of “Skin,” featuring Canadian electro-pop duo Beach Season. That track is followed up with more future bass on “Lies,” which features lively synth sounds and some hypnotic vocals from yasaquarius. The track is highly unique and totally gorgeous, much like the rest of the EP.

On the final track “Get Lost,” RIS throws in an unexpected twist as a really groovy intro builds up with slow piano strokes, brass, and vocal chops, and then quickly but smoothly launches into some drum n bass. We’re constantly amazed by Rome In Silver’s dynamic and genre-defying sound.
