Ryder Summons Warm Weather With The Summery Track “I Been”

|||

Spring only just began, but we’re already dreaming of warmer weather here at TSIS. Ryder, the British producer who went viral for his skeptacore project, gives us an early candidate for song of the summer with his new track “I Been.”

“I Been” refuses to be defined by one genre, fluctuating between a 4×4, dance-forward beat and a dreamy R&B inspired verse. The silky-smooth vocals from Daniella Wizard, in addition to the vibrant swirls of synth and warm guitar strums, inject a heavy dose of summer into the track. Ultimately this versatile, bouncy song would be a good fit for any occasion between a trip to the beach or a night on the dance floor.

Ryder tells us more about how the track was made:

“I wrote ‘I Been’ when I was 17 in a hotel in Albania – a track that was firmly ahead of its time when I created it. The track’s groove was inspired by Kaytranada and Channel Tres.”
