Chicago independent rapper, Saba, has been consistently blowing us away with his authenticity and raw musicality. He’s remained relatively quiet since his acclaimed sophomore album, Care For Me, back in 2018 but the buzzing rapper has made his presence known once again on his latest album, Few Good Things.
The album contains an eclectic variety of production styles, rap verses, and collaborations that all make up the colorful picture that is Saba. The overall mood of the project is refreshingly laid back and pleasingly psychedelic. Lyrically, we can hear Saba re-examining his own family history and upbringing to ultimately find the beauty in those experiences. Notable guest appearances include 6LACK, Smino, Pivot Gang, Eryn Allen Kane, and Mereba.
