Sam Gellaitry uploaded a new beat yesterday that you should definitely give a spin. Simply titled “wuhei.wav,” the track is a six-minute endeavor that is full of lush, smoked-out lofi sounds over a smooth, four-to-the-floor rhythm. At some points during the tune, especially during the last minute, Sam evokes a techno-leaning groove, which is something we’ve sparsely seen from him in the past.
“wuhei.wav” is the second beat he’s shared in the past two weeks. He recently announced that he would be sharing new beats in a weekly format. According to Gellaitry, the tunes were just “gathering dust” on his hard drive, and he wanted to get them out into the world. Last week, he shared “ferns.wav,” a much briefer, hip-hop-leaning beat.
