Whenever Sam Gellaitry drops something, it’s guaranteed to be good. As someone who puts a great deal of forethought and intention into everything he release, we’re always left wanting more from the prolific Scottish producer. Having spent the good part of the last year in enigmatic silence, today we’re ecstatic to see Sam G return to the spotlight yet again, this time to share his full ever full album, Viewfinder Vol 1: Phosphene.

Sam Gellaitry is definitely in a class of his own. With a sound that we’d be hard pressed to compare to anyone else in the game, this latest offering has only served to further define the unique, cinematic, storytelling style the young producer has continued to pioneer through his Escapism EP series. Characterized by a palpable wanderlust vibe, through the masterfull layering of crisp, vibrant orchestral progressions, lush, atmospheric soundscapes funky, warbling synths and various live instrumentation, Sam G has not only given us one hell of a debut album, but a truly rarem seamless 12-track sonic journey.
