Can you believe we are only a month out from the release of San Holo‘s new album? While the anticipation for Existential Dance Music continues, the Dutch virtuoso has so kindly graced us with yet another new single to hold us over. In collaboration with Whethan and Selah Sol, San presents, “NO PLACE IS TOO FAR.”
Selah Sol perfectly matches the emotive, heartstring-pulling vibes we are used to hearing from San Holo’s productions, delivering a delicate and intimate vocal performance. San and Whethan create a dynamic rollercoaster of a production around the vocal, with soft piano interludes, waves of ethereal pads, and a bright, energetic drop. Whethan’s synth style seems to blend seamlessly with San’s, as the duo meld their styles down to every melodic detail.
San shared his thoughts on the new track, commented:
To me, this song is about the realization that love is such a powerful state of being. Love will always give you the strength to keep going. If you come from a place of true love, no place is too far. This is one of my favorite songs on the album and I loved working with Whethan and Selah Sol on it!
