Schoolboy Q Teams With Dr. Dre Collaborator Anderson .Paak on New Single “Am I Wrong”

Earlier this year we were all pleasantly surprised with Dr. Dre’s first album in 16 years with the release of Compton. One of the biggest surprises on the album is the most featured artist was the unknown California based singer/rapper Anderson .Paak. Dre has a history of finding some of the biggest talent in hip hop with his track record including Snoop Dogg, Eminem, 50 Cent, and Kendrick Lamar, so giving an up and coming artist 6 features on his album really turned some heads.

Anderson .Paak is prepping for a fall release of his forthcoming Malibu album and has shared a new track to hold us over until his release. Teaming up with fellow west coast rapper Schoolboy Q, he delivers a dancefloor ready track with a driving bassline and upbeat horns from Brasstracks to make for an 80’s vibe executively produced by Pomo. Paak incorporates his raspy, soulful singing alongside Q’s minimal verse to round out the track as he capitalizes on his relevance following Dre’s co-sign. Stream below and stay tuned for the album!
