SHADES may have just delivered some of their hardest bangers to date. The duo comprised of Alix Perez and Eprom have always been held in high regard when it comes to sound design, but this brand new Black Heart Communion EP sounds like it was made specifically to play out live.
We knew what to expect after hearing the lead single, “Two One Six” off this EP last week, and we’re still blown away by the mammoth sound of this project. SHADES wastes absolutely zero space in the sonic atmosphere that they create here, summoning unholy amounts of bass that slaps the listener right in the face.
