As one of the OG legends of dubstep, Skream is pretty much entitled to do whatever he wants at this point in his career. After a long stint of making innovative house music, it seems he’s finally making his way back to the dark side with “Summoned.”
Those who were lucky enough to attend his incredibly rare Old Skool Dubstep set at Denver’s Black Box have definitely heard this as an ID. For the rest of us, this is our first time hearing a new Skream dubstep tune in over ten long years. As advertised, “Summoned” is an ominous, dub odyssey that hits all the right buttons.
Hopefully, this is only the beginning of his return to dubstep but we’ll take whatever we can get. Stream the track below and enjoy!
