Last night was a huge one for Skrillex fans. Not only did Skrillex unveil his latest song “Don’t Go” with Justin Bieber and Don Toliver, but he also told Apple Music’s Zane Lowe that he is currently working on multiple different bodies of work.” With how many artists the super-producer has been working with lately, we’re not completely surprised that he’s not just working on a singular album. So far in 2021, Skrillex has worked with J Balvin, Swae Lee, Jhay Cortez, Four Tet, and now Justin Bieber and Don Toliver. These are among the biggest artists in the world.

In his interview with Zane Lowe, this is what Skrill mentioned he has all the songs ready to go:

I don’t like to say too much, but I mean, I have some projects, I hate the word finishing, but I have all the songs and I’m just in there tweaking and releasing some singles before I decided to put out the bodies of work.

There it is, folks. Skrillex is officially sitting on multiple projects. It’s only a matter of time before they see the light of day. He also mentioned to Zane Lowe how he was originally planning on dropping right around the time the pandemic hit. The extra time allowed him to further fine tune the music.
