Following Frank Ocean’s controversial departure from Coachella Weekend 2, Skrillex, Fred again.., and Four Tet stepped up to fill in for one of music’s biggest stages. Skrillex, Fred again.., and Four Tet have been dominating stages across the globe, most recently selling out Madison Square Garden with their groundbreaking b2b2b sets. Coachella’s biggest stage was just another check in a long list of accomplishments as the three producers dropped a multitude of unreleased IDS, edits, remixes, and mashups.
In 2022, Swedish House Mafia and The Weeknd replaced Kanye at Coachella. This year, Pangbourne House Mafia replaced Frank Ocean. Dance music has continued to grow to unprecedented lengths and last night marked yet another milestone for the genre and the culture.
