You can now watch Skrillex’s entire set from Ultra Music Festival 2025 in all it’s 4k glory. The king of bass music returns to Miami after 10 years, headlining the main stage of the iconic music festival Ultra.
For his nearly hour-and-a-half-long set he brought out all the stops, from old classics to tons of brand new unreleased ID’s. He even included playing some long-awaited tracks he hadn’t played in over a decade like Voltage which he dropped a new edit right out the gate. He played out his rarely heard live remix of Avicii’s “Levels” and gave a shout-out on the mic to Tim.
This set was a very well-executed masterclass on how to bring bass music to the main stage.
Skrillex was not shy to special guest performers like many other DJ’s this weekend brought out in spirit of the festival’s landmark 25th anniversary. To star things off hs brouhg out frequent collaborator UK-based rapper Flowdan. They performed 3 songs in a row starting off with “Rumble” (also ft. Fred Again..) and then quickly moved into the Chase & Status remix of the same song, then “Badders VIP” (with Peekaboo / G-Rex), and then into rave anthem “Baddadan” from Chase & Status, Bou with Flowdan, IRAH, Trigga and Takura. Flowdan raps Trigga’s part here since he is not present and then his own verse.
A bit later on, he brought out reggae legend Damian Marley by first teasing Damian’s anthem ”Welcome To Jamrock”. The song then quickly shifted to Skrillex and Damian’s genre-bending collaboration “Make It Bun Dem” once Damian entered the stage. After doing some research, it seems like this might be the debut colab live performance of both Damian and Skrillex ever playing the song live. The intro of this song is so epic and so cool to see it live.
A few other live performances also happened, including Puerto Rican singer Young Miko, who performed her unreleased collaboration “Apaga La Luz” with Skrillex (and allegedly Taina), which started surfacing last year.
The last guest was a newcomer NAISHA which Skrillex mentioned this being her first ever live performance on the stage. They performed their song “Talk to Me” also including Champion and Four Tet.
He not only played so many tracks that fans had been wanting for years to hear live, but he actually decided to release most of them and more, including ‘Voltage’ on the “Sonny You Think You And Warhol….” mixtape.
