Yesterday Skrillex and Vic Mensa shared a sneak peek of their "No Chill" music video with a brief 37 second trailer while stating in the video description, "Available on Apple Music 2/19/16." So we knew he was going to be dropping the video today, but we didn't know it was going to be this awesome.
Fresh off the official release of his latest single "Danger,” which he originally premiered at Kanye's album listening party at Madison Square Garden, Vic adds to the hype with some brand new visuals for he and Skrillex's collaborative effort "No Chill."
Shot in Tokyo while Vic and Skrillex explored the city, epic scenes of vibrant city lights and quirky cultural trends splash across the screen as Vic vehemently delivers his gritty bars atop Skrillex's production. There’s a minute and half narrated intro with subtitles setting the mysterious vibe of the video before the music kicks in ending with the statement “This is the under world of Tokyo, no rules, all about self expression. This is the world of no chill.” This video brings the vibe of a short film as the frantic visuals perfectly represent the meaning of no chill. Watch below and enjoy.
