Skrillex has been known to work with some massive collaborators over the years like A$AP Rocky, Fatman Scoop, Chance the Rapper among many many others, but his latest is sure to surprise everyone. Over the past year Skrillex has been playing the 80's band Toto's iconic hit "Africa" during his sets, Inspired by his Australian friends What So Not. The track added a flashback to a timeless classic and a nice change of pace during both artists' high energy sets.

Well now it has been revealed that these hugely accredited producers are working with the LA based 6 piece band, over 30 years since the original hit was made. This should lead to some very interesting things given the polar opposite differences in their musical styles. We are looking forward to seeing what they both cooked up. Here's Toto's facebook status and more in depth thoughts about working with the producers below.

Here is what Toto had to say about Skrillex being such a nice guy to work with and how working with What So Not was a meeting of 2 generations.

"It is VERY melodic and Joe and I sang and the band is very cool and Skrillex is a very nice guy and very creative as are the team "What So Not' It was a 'love fest' right away and we created something from a germ of an idea they had and it was a meeting of 2 generations.. NEVER would have thought it worked.. they called US and we went and ended up writing and recording a VERY cool piece. It will be interesting to see what they do with this. I love a new fresh challenge. We all walked away happy on both sides. Great experiment that worked. Dont worry.. Toto is NOT going dubstep haha It was fun session and we made some new friends."
