Softest Hard Drops New Latin-Inspired Banger “La Luz” with Kali Uchis

Los Angeles resident Softest Hard and Grammy award-winning powerhouse vocalist Kali Uchis explore sultry and ethereal vibes with this new trap influenced bop, entitled “La Luz.” If you feel like you’ve heard this track before, that’s because it was originally released on Kal Uchis’s album, Sin Miedo. This is Softest Hard’s creative new take on the track.

The duo checks every box with this spicy banger. Its melodic and airy interludes pull you in and release with hard-hitting, dubstep-inspired drops. The entrancing bilingual vocals by Kal Uchis accompany Softest Hard’s production perfectly, accenting the producer’s edgy synths with smooth melodies. The duo truly compliment each other to take “La Luz” to the next level.

Softest Hard added “This record brings out the seductive side of me… The buildup is airy and pretty with a bouncy, trappy drop.” The producer, who defines her sound as the “softest hardstyle,” (explaining the origins of her name) takes this single to new heights. “La Luz” is the dance producer’s second offering via the label HARD Recs, and proves her rightful place with the HARD imprint.

Listen to “La Luz” below, released April 29 via Hard Records. Enjoy!!
