Australian house music heavyweight, Sonny Fodera, is no stranger to making an appearance on the site. He’s not only known for his iconic productions, but he has major party-starting capabilities behind the decks as well. After building up a mountain of hype, he’s finally ready to drop his new album, Wide Awake, out now via Solotoko.
The theme of Wide Awake is collaboration. Sonny has built up quite the network of friends and collaborators over the years and has filled his latest album with features. The opening track, “You,” boasts exotic keys that flow alongside Sam Tompkins’ soothing serenades and sets to the tone for the record. “Angel” features vocals from Clementine Douglas while “Nah” contains all familiar vocals from Sinead Harnett. Other features include Dan Caplen, Yeah Boy and Camden Cox, Laura Walsh, MK and Raphaella, Poppy Baskcomb, Vintage Culture and MKLA, Kelli Leigh, and Ella Eyre.
