Canada, the country that gave us deadmau5, Rezz, and Excision (to name a few), has graced us with yet another gem of a producer. Rising artist, Staysick, joins the Canadian ranks today, as he makes his TSIS debut with his newest single, “Resonance.”
Adorned with a variety of plucky leads and infectious grooves, there is so much to love about this new track. Staysick’s knack for tasteful syncopation shines as the drums and bass combine into one powerful force, delivering ridiculously intense drops. Rarely repeating sections as the song progresses, Staysick finds new ways to keep the listener intrigued, all the while keeping his sound design and mix on point.
Here’s what Staysick had to say about the making of “Resonance” :
‘Resonance’ is my favorite track from the EP mainly due to its BPM and sound design. It’s a sound that I have always seemed to come back to, which is that 130 BPM dubstep and neuro-fused hybrid trap.
