Subtronics & Zeds Dead Reunite and Deliver a Wall Of Bass with “Gassed Up”

||, , |,

Two of the hottest bass producers in the game, Subtronics and Zeds Dead, have combined forces once again to bless us with a new banger. “Gassed Up” actually marks the third time these two have linked up, and it might be our favorite yet.

On “Gassed Up,” Subtronics brings the enormous, energetic bass drops that are his signature. This is intensified via the heavy dubstep sound of Canadian bass icons Zeds Dead. As if these two bass legends weren’t enough on their own, they also recruited UK grime rapper Flowdan to deliver a scorching vocal performance. They let Flowdan hype us up on the verse, letting a fiery synth line simmer in the background before annihilating us on that banging hook.

Here’s what Subtronics had to say about the collaboration:

“GASSED UP” with Zeds Dead and Flowdan is one of my favorite songs on the album. I am a massive, massive fan of Flowdan and beyond honored to have him on the track. The UK inspired grime sections leading into emotionally impactful walls of sound just, ugh, I love this tune and stand by it with my entire soul.”

This track serves as the last single on Subtronics’s upcoming album FRACTALS, before it drops next week. “Gassed Up” is out on all streaming platforms now, but you can check it out using the link below. Enjoy!
