SunSquabi have been bringing the funk for years and ahead of the live electronic trio’s biggest headline show to date, they’ve shared a taste of what they’ve been working on lately. Today we’re excited to be premiering their latest single “Just A Little,” that continues to build on the group’s signature sound we’ve come to love over the years.
We had the pleasure of premiering SunSquabi’s lead EP single “Deluxe” earlier this year followed by their All Good Radio mix this summer we’ve been jamming out to ever since. The Colorado-based trio always has a knack for bridging the gap between the live and electronic worlds with this new release continuing that trend effortlessly. They really bring the funk and soul on “Just A Little,” which has us excited to hear what else they’ve been working on because as the name suggests, this is just a taste to hold us over a bit longer. The track showcases their incredible songwriting abilities as the track evolves throughout with the smooth layers of instrumentation perfectly complimenting their tasteful electronic productions giving the track a relaxing backbone. “Just A Little” is an enjoyable tune throughout with funky shimmering keys, crisp percussion and the bouncing basslines laying the foundation for the irresistible guitar licks to shine.
