Tame Impala are not messing around with these remixes for The Slow Rush. We recently were treated to the legendary Four Tet’s rendition of “Is It True,” and now, Kevin Parker taps another UK icon, Blood Orange, for a remix of “Borderline.” Both of these remixes have completely transformed the original.
Blood Orange’s take on “Borderline” is nothing short of genius. This new version offers up a much more psychedelic vibe with a completely new instrumental. He still finds a way to weave in the original vocals, but it still feels like a brand new song. The groovy guitar is enough to have us swooning over this one.
