Earlier this year, London’s beloved venue Printworks officially closed its doors. Even though the venue announced a Printworks 2.0 for 2026, the closure left a void in the hearts of many concert goers. Broadwick Live, the team behind Printworks, has just saved the day, revealing a brand-new venue DRUMSHEDS.
Based in North London’s Meridian Water zone, DRUMSHEDS will have a capacity of 15,000 people. Similar to the industrial feel of Printworks, DRUMSHEDS will maintain many of its original features, including old lift shafts, loading bays, and aged machinery.
Here’s what Broadwick Live’s founder had to say about the new venue:
“Broadwick’s mission has always been to build brands that deliver unrivaled, live experiences that create real impact. We want DRUMSHEDS, like all the spaces we create, to be a new center of cultural gravity that provides the basis for human connection. A connection that people crave now more than ever.”
DRUMSHEDS plans to open in September and will be announcing their first events in the coming months. You can stay informed by signing up to the venue’s mailing list here.
