Teflon Sega Drops Infectious Hip-Hop / R&B Song “Roses” Off 10-Track Project Sampling Anime Theme Songs

||, , |, ,

Teflon Sega just keeps the music flowing. We’ve been all about the mysterious Anime artist ever since we first heard him, and he’s just been on fire lately. The R&B / hip-hop artist doubles as an anime character apparent in all his branding and imagery.

Now he’s taking things a step further and is starting to roll out a full, 10-track project titled Maya’s Revenge, and it’s not your typical project. Teflon is sampling his favorite anime theme songs, flipping them into fire beats with JordanXL and reinterpreting them fully new songs singing over the new instrumentals.

The first in this series of songs is “Roses” and hears Teflon over a reinterpreted version of the anime show Goblin Slayer’s theme song. The beat slaps hard, and we hear Teflon deliver some slick flows on the verses while holding it down with an infectious falsetto hook tying everything together. It comes along with a fire anime video showing teflon taking down some goblins. This shows the talented artist exploring further into the hip-hop realm and we can’t wait to hear the rest of Maya’s Revenge. This follows up Teflon’s Velvet Pill album and his new single “BRXKEN” alongside Brady Watt as he continues to impress us. Enjoy
