England’s indie-electronic-pop duo, TENDER, is set to release their third album, Flux, this September. To whet our appetites for what is sure to be a stellar LP, they share “cutting grass,” the fifth single from the upcoming project.
Following the previous four singles, “daydreamers,” “come clean,” “sprinkles,” and “go steady,” “cutting grass” continues the positive trend for where this album is heading. The single spends its first minute in a mellow vibe, before increasing its momentum at the halfway point of the five-minute track. Bellowing laid-back vocals blend perfectly with the indie-EDM synth soundscape the duo crafts. TENDER plans to get quite introspective on their upcoming album, as foreshadowed through the theme of “taking kindness for granted” on “cutting grass.”
