Getter Is Back as Terror Reid, Drops Boom-Bap Track “Aint Nothin”

||, |,

The musical differences between Getter and Terror Reid are so stark, that you’d be surprised to know they were the same person. The quality of both Getter’s EDM and Terror Reid’s rapping are both top-notch, though. We’re reminded of that view with the latest offering from Terror Reid, a new single titled “Aint Nothin.”

This new one, which dropped on Wednesday, comes on the heels of “Supa Dupa,” Terror Reid’s first release since his debut album. With “Aint Nothin” dropping just a couple of months afterward, we have the feeling that he may be prepping something big.

Similar to the last single, Terror Reid leans into a boom-bap vibe on this one. He pays homage to a couple of hip-hop legends here, with a “nothin’ but a Reid thang” line, as well as the production, sounding very similar to A Tribe Called Quest’s “Can I Kick It?”

When it comes to the flow, however, Terror Reid is on his own plane, delivering crystal clear bars at a jogging pace. We’re loving this recent sound from him and hope to hear more of it soon.
