The Chainsmokers Return with Catchy New Banger “High”

|||,

There are few duos that have as much star power as The Chainsmokers. The electro-pop duo, who came up quickly in the EDM scene back in the mid-2010s, are impossible to ignore, especially when they return from a hiatus with such a bang. Today, the duo releases their first track in three years, in it comes in the form of “High,” a catchy new banger

This new one, which launches the rollout of their next album, has immense replay power. It has smash-hit written all over it, so you can expect to hear it everywhere. It’s already deeply stuck in our heads here at TSIS.

According to a conversation with Zane Lowe about the album, which took place on Apple Music 1, The Chainsmokers had to refocus before making this next album:

I think we were happy with our last couple albums, but we just didn’t feel that those songs were really like living up to what we really thought we were capable of. That wasn’t honoring of where we thought Chainsmokers could go. And we needed some time to just stop and chill. And we went away to Hawaii in the beginning of 2020. We just went and surfed and drank and laughed and took mushrooms and listened to tons of music that we loved. And we just got refocused.

You can stream “High” from The Chainsmokers below. It also comes with a new video. Enjoy!
