The Chainsmokers continue their dominance in 2016 with "Setting Fires" feat. XYLØ, the final track off their newly-announced Collage EP bundle. It's been an astronomical rise for the duo over the past year and a half. From "Roses" to "Don't Let Me Down" to "Closer" to their recent single "All We Know", the modern sound design on their latest release makes it prime for success.
"Setting Fires" creates a unique dynamic as the vocal melody runs parallel to that of the lead melody in the verse before a catchy, chopped-up vocal takes over in the drop. The song also incorporates Asian-inspired instrumentation that pairs well with the track's gritty bassline. The female member of LA duo XYLØ proves to be an excellent feature with her moving lyrics and powerful voice. Stream 'Setting Fires" below and be sure to grab your copy of the five-track Collage EP!
