The Weeknd seems to be diving deeper and deeper into a psychedelic bender in his newest music video. The video is for his latest track “Heartless,” a classic Weeknd-sounding pop-inspired banger (produced by Metro Boomin), which we’re sure will be stuck in your head by the end of the week.
The video seems to draw inspiration from the cult-classic move Fear & Loathing In Las Vegas, where Hunter S. Thompson and his lawyer (played by Johnny Depp and Benecio Del Toro) go on a drug-fueled bender while attempting to cover a news story.
