Every once in a while, we can all use a good word from Juicy J. Luckily for us (and you), R&B artists and studio vets THEY. have heeded that mantra with their new single “STCU.” With the title being an acronym for the hook provided by L.A duo’s smooth vocals, the Three 6 Mafia founder gives it metaphorical flip and then lets loose with his signature prose to great effect. With this effort, the trio have combined to produce a track that invokes memories of vintage Memphis rap. As far as detailing what exactly that means, you’ll just have to give it a listen.
While we can’t comment as to whether this collaboration is a hint at something bigger brewing between these artists, what we do know is that this is a team on whose bandwagon we’re firmly on. Matter of fact, we’re driving it.
