We couldn’t be more excited to return with a new volume of The Remedy, our artist-curated playlist series. Selecting songs for us today is none other than one of our current favorite producers, Tourist. The UK-based talent is hot on the heels of his most recent studio album, Inside Out, which has already proven to be one of our most listened-to projects of the year.
Vol. 049 of The Remedy takes us down a long, winding road into a forest of ambient melodies, downtempo mastery, and lush textures. From time to time, Tourist invites some shifting rhythms via tracks from artists like DJ Python, Axel Bowman, and Burial. Much of the journey, however, is spent gliding along the path that he’s laid out for us, paved with songs from Brian Eno, Johnny Greenwood, and Marry Lattimore. This is some lovely curation to take in here.
