Just last week we received a new EP from hip-hop hero, Tierra Whack. Rap? was Tierra’s first new body of work in three years and she’s wasted no time with her follow-up, Pop?.
Tierra Whack has always marched to the beat of her own drum creating music that is equal parts intriguing and infectious. This new three-track project finds Whack lending her impeccable songwriting and rap abilities to three unique backdrops. A highly danceable breakbeat synth tune, “Body of Water,” leads off followed by a punky School Of Rock inspired party starter, “Lazy.” The folk/ bluegrass leaning “Dolly” rounds out the trio with a pleasantly wholesome vibe.
