Artists of all type are taking advantage of the massive crypto-art boom that’s happening, thanks to the rise of NFTs. The latest to do it is revered electronic duo TNGHT, aka Lunice and Hudson Mohawke. Their home label, LuckyMe, has listed their infamous horn sound as an NFT on Foundation, with the bidding starting at 0.50 Ethereum ($913).

If you aren’t familiar with what NFTs are or how they work, check out our guide.

Those that are familiar with TNGHT know exactly the horn sound we’re talking about. It was the mean feature of their most played track, “Higher Ground,” and has made other appearances in tracks like “R U READY” (which was later turned into Kanye West’s “Blood On The Leaves”). The NFT was minted by LuckyMe last week, and the auction is currently live. It ends in a few hours, with the current bid at 0.90 ETH ($1,644).

Here’s what the description of the listing reads:

Splice offered us 1 million dollar$ and we said “MAYBE!”. Kanye West offered us 2 million dollar$ and we said “WE’LL THINK ABOUT IT!”. With all the power of the mythical norse hammer Mjölnir, we are proud to present this one of a kind auction for the official TNGHT horn sound. Those in possession will receive great fortune. Great syncs. It’s okay diplo, we got you!

This sale comes with a prores 4444 animation of the mighty horn shown here, alongside nudes and a 24 bit wav of said mighty horn.
