Things are getting hotter as we approach those long-awaited summer months. It’s only fitting that the trap legend himself, TroyBoi, graces us with some spicy heaters to get us in the right mindset. Today, he’s releasing his newest EP, Say Less, out now via T Dot Music.
While his previous EP, Influendo, drew on heavy latin influence, Say Less finds the producer pulling from his eastern-influenced arsenal of sounds. If you pay attention to the artwork, you’ll notice a few warriors prepared for some kind of intense faceoff. Appropriately, TroyBoi has recruited some trap royalty to join the project, including Stooki Sound, UZ, Hucci, and Mr. Carmack.
Each track displays a unique sonic range within the trap genre that only TroyBoi is capable of. Trap had its moment in the mid 2010s but TroyBoi and company are here to remind everyone that it’s still relevant today. Stream the EP below and enjoy!
