TSHA Shares Emotive New Single “Drive” with Ingrid Witt

Can it be Sad Girl season already?! While we (patiently) wait for the release of TSHA‘s highly anticipated sophomore album, the triple-threat joins forces with rising artist, Ingrid Witt, for the LP’s third single, “Drive.”

“Drive” puts a spotlight on a new side of TSHA’s production. Orchestral strings collide with a breakbeat and piano house chords, creating an unlikely, yet pleasing, fusion of genres. Ingrid Witt delivers her vocals with utmost emotion, pouring her heart out through powerful melodic delivery. The track provides a stark contrast to the album’s last single, “Girls,” but remains undeniably TSHA.

TSHA commented on working with Ingrid, and the writing process:

‘Drive’ has that feeling of, like, she’s leaving the city. It reminds me of when I first left Fareham and was like, ‘I’m going!’. I also fell in love with Ingrid Witt’s voice. She sounds a bit like Robyn, but also reminds me of Kate Bush. I can’t wait for people to hear her, because as an independent artist, I’m hoping when more people hear her, more shit will happen for her, because her voice is amazing, and she’s an amazing writer!

You can stream “Drive” at the link below, out everywhere via Ninja Tune. Enjoy!
