Two very significant artists apparently have some major drops on the way this year. Sony recently released their supplemental financial report for the last quarter, and it reveals (among other information) that both Tyler, The Creator and Calvin Harris have albums due out before June 30 (end of the second quarter).
In which direction will Tyler and Harris head for their upcoming projects? Neither have officially announced the albums yet. Both of their previous major releases came back in 2017 and saw considerable success (Tyler with Flower Boy and Harris with Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1). The latest we’ve heard from Tyler is an interesting snippet of an unreleased track on his YouTube page.
If everything stays on schedule, we should be listening to new full length albums from these two in less than two months time. But until we hear from the artists themselves, however, we’ll stay hopeful. Stay tuned for more information on both of these projects.
