While promoting the release of his latest album You're Dead! Flying Lotus, made it known that he was sitting on over a dozen tracks with prominent west coast rapper Kendrick Lamar. Due to music industry politics, the only FlyLo and K.Dot collab to make the album was "Never Catch Me". Now, an unreleased verse from the track "Eyes Above" (an instrumental on the album) has surfaced during a recent FlyLo live performance that features Kendrick going in hot on the beat. The verse in question was originally created during an intimate studio session between FlyLo and Kendrick.
