Valentino Khan just dropped his wacky new house track “Pony”, adding to his arsenal of high-energy bangers. The LA-based artist has been pumping out bouncy dance tracks for years, and today’s release furthers his playful sound. “Pony” also marks the second release off Valentino Khan’s forthcoming EP, the first of which was his collaboration with Kayzo.
Valentino Khan’s newest single is filled with groovy basslines juxtaposing pitched down vocals that plead “Let me ride that motherfucking pony”. These over-the-top elements of the track mesh perfectly with funky, off-the-wall drops. Wonky synths and laser sounds are tied together by a buildup consisting of horse galloping samples as Valentino Khan gears up for a harder, grittier breakdown.
