VNSSA is turning up the flames in the new year with a fire new track via Noizu’s Techne label. The quarantine queen lifted the people up during lockdown with her live streams with Justin Martin and Walker & Royce, and more music from her is exactly what we needed to tide us over while the clubs are still closed. “Cuz Of The Beat” is a funky electro song that solidifies why the DJ should be on your radar.
This has got all the ingredients for an acid-house hit: thick bass, a consistent groove, and some gnarly bleeps and bloops. Right off the bat, the beat takes off with a pulsating kick, some psychedelic synths, and a glitchy bass. There’s a soulful vocal sample that adds a little more funk and glides perfectly over the groovy rhythm.
