Drum & bass supergroup Noisia first announced their impending breakup in September 2019. To the relief of fans everywhere, the farewell tour was postponed due to the global Covid-19 shutdown. Fast forward to 2021-2022, and the immutable Dutch trio set off on their last string of performances. This past August, a legendary run came to a close, and Lowlands Festival was treated to the final Noisia performance. For anyone that might have missed the iconic show or for anyone who is feeling extra nostalgic, the recording of that final performance has been released, and we’ve shared it below.
The video begins with Thys calling to the crowd, announcing their final farewell. The show that ensues is nothing short of breathtaking. The energy explodes out of the gates, and videos of the crowd show the uncontrollable head-banging and dancing that ensues. The people were having a FIT. And honestly, who can blame them? When you’re witnessing the final performance of one of drum n bass’s most groundbreaking acts, you bet you’ll leave it all on the dance floor.
