Bass house maestro, Wax Motif, is known for making some of the most energetic house songs in addition to putting his signature flair on iconic remixes. His final release of last year, All Black Everything, made some serious waves and had us jumping on our feet. Now the Aussie producer is ready to make his mark in 2021 with the release of “Need You” which comes out via his own Divided Souls.
On this one, he keeps up the momentum as he links up with Russian duo Phlegmatic Dogs. “Need You” strikes the perfect balance between their signature sounds of driving basslines, slappy percussion, and gritty synth work. All that is anchored by an infectious vocal hook and soft melody work, making it impossible to refuse.
