Whethan Drops Long-Awaited Debut Album, ‘Fantasy’

We have long been fans of Chicago-based bass wunderkind Whethan, really ever since he remixed Mssigno’s “XE3” back in 2015. He’s been a staple on the scene ever since then, churning out remixes and making appearances on festival stages all over the world. And now as 2020 heads into its final stretch, Whethan has dropped his first ever full length album.

Entitled Fantasy, the album is a mix of previously released music (which all have corresponding videos uploaded to YouTube) along with new collaborations with the likes of RL Grime, Chrome Sparks, and The Knocks, to name a few.

The crown jewel of the release however is the brand new track “Drumdown Mambo (feat Jasiah)” which encompasses the dynamic and genre-bending nature of Whethan’s work to date. We couldn’t be more proud to finally see Whethan deliver his biggest project of his career so far. It’s a work of art.
