Rising bass artist Zingara has become one of the most beloved artists in the electronic music scene. Her goal: to transport music through mind and body. Consistently proving her talent and promise through her diverse taste and style of bass music Zingara deserves every ounce of love she has received and more. Today, she unveils her latest project in her new EP For The Crystal Children, exploring the power of manifesting pure intentions with others through gnarly yet ethereal sonic landscapes.
For The Crystal Children is a concept project and a story about the Crystal Children. She shares, “When it was time to start brainstorming new ideas, this concept popped into my head. The Crystal Children are souls that volunteer to come to Earth to help the collective learn to love and heal.” Beyond producing incredible music, Zingara aims to channel deep emotion in her listeners while teaching spirituality, creating a full body-experience.
Coming in at four tracks, the EP is alluring and extremely unique. Its title track kicks off the project powerfully, laying out the concept of the Crystal Children before diving right into mind bending bass. “Shape Shift” starts off as a high energy bass house track before cutting the bpm in half and literally shapeshifting into a wobbly and visceral second drop. “Move With The Sound” and “Rhythm of Life” both bring on Miles Davis Trumpet Competition winner Maurice Brown, with the former seamlessly infusing hip-hop and the latter unleashing Brown’s trumpet over a bed of dreamy dubstep.
Speaking further on the EP, Zingara also had this to share,
“The Crystal Children is a concept and belief that our souls have lived many past lives and are currently incarnated onto Earth to gain knowledge, life experiences and act out of love in the present moment. The music I created is here to suggest to you to enjoy every emotion that comes with life because you have a long unique journey ahead and only you are in charge of giving yourself permission to let loose, live in the moment, and feel the music that is here to help you do so. It is a reminder to myself and my listeners to allow yourself to be free. Nothing is your fault but everything is your creation so let’s have some fun and celebrate the time we get to share together.”
