Bonobo literally cannot make a bad track. Everything we’ve heard throughout the rollout for his new album, Fragments, has been absolutely stellar. For his most recent single, “Otomo,” which just dropped this morning and features English producer O’Flynn, Bonobo has invoked some serious dancefloor energy.
This is the hardest-hitting track we’ve heard from Bonobo thus far. He calls upon some tribal-inspired energy and a pounding breakbeat rhythm to deliver a seriously impactful groove that is just impossible to resist. Of course, being Bonobo, the man has also infused a wave of heavenly melodies to complement the heavy sound.
Bonobo is set to release Fragments on January 14 via Ninja Tune. Stay tuned for what should be an amazing album.
