We’ve been loving everything Cautious Clay has been putting out. He’s been on the rise for all of 2018, and ended the year on a high note with the drop of “REASONS,” the first single (produced by Hudson Mohawke) off his forthcoming EP, Table Of Context.
Today he drops the second single, and this time he’s enlisted another one of our favorite artists, Medasin, for the production. The track is called “HONEST ENOUGH” and it’s a dreamy R&B cut that, lyrically, tells a story that details the often overlooked drama and hardships of personal relationships. In a press release, Cautious Clay added:
“I feel like it’s easy to be ‘honest enough’ or to not tell the whole truth to someone. You can skate by knowing good and well that things are not stable.”
Cautious Clay’s music isn’t just good on the surface, it has the depth that we often crave. Stream the brand new single, “HONEST ENOUGH,” below and enjoy!
