Canadian artist, producer and multi-instrumentalist, Chet Porter, has a knack for catching our attention with an ever-evolving sound. His emotional collaboration with San Holo, “you’ve changed, i’ve changed,” had us all in our feels earlier this year. In an attempt to try something different, he’s teamed up with Midoca to announce a brand new side project, Cherry Surf, alongside the release of “Life’s So Good.”
Chet and Midoca have teamed up to create a track that’s energetic and full of cathartic release. Following a global lockdown that’s lasted over a year, the track erupts with ecstatic screaming from Chet himself and heavy guitar riffs.
“Life’s So Good” marks a turning point in Chet’s musical output. After a long musical hiatus from 2017 to 2019 due to mental health concerns, Chet’s shifting his focus towards music that brings joy back into his creative process. Stream the track below and enjoy!
