This is definitively bittersweet news for the entire electronic music community. With everything going on in the world, Diplo took to Instagram to casually announce that the final Major Lazer album (probably ever) is finished.
Back in September of 2018, Diplo, in an interview, let it be known that the era of Major Lazer would soon be coming to an end. And although after the initial reveal the larger-than-life trio went on to drop some incredible collabs with Tove Lo, Skip Marley, Anitta & Khalid – with a Beyoncé collab still supposedly on the way, we’re willing to bet this final offering will be everything we could’ve hoped for and more from a Major Lazer project.
Check out Diplo’s nonchalant announcement below and enjoy!
