Fyre Festival Founder Billy McFarland Is Launching A Tell-All Podcast From Prison

||, |

The infamous founder of Fyre Festival, Billy McFarland, is coming out with a new podcast from prison. It’s called Dumpster Fyre, and it will focus on Billy’s side of the story behind catastrophic failure of a music festival scam.

Billy appeared in a couple of different Fyre Festival documentaries before he was in prison, but it was pretty obvious that he wasn’t being honest and forthcoming during his interviews. Now, with not much else to lose, Billy intends to tell “the uncensored, complete story of Fyre Festival,” via this new podcast. It’s not exactly clear how Billy was able to record a podcast from federal prison, but a teaser of the show does reveal his voice from the other side of a telephone.

Could this be just another money grab from Billy McFarland? Either way, our interests are definitely piqued. It will certainly be interesting to hear the supposed other side of the story. It still will be hard, however, to not take what he’s saying with a big grain of salt.

The first episode of Dumpster Fyre premieres tonight. We’re eager to see if any bombshells will be dropped right at the start the series.

Check out the trailer below as we wait for the first episode. A release time has not been given yet.
