Elderbrook & Tourist Find Inspiration From Family On New House Tune “Howl”

||, |

Elderbrook has been quite active in the electronic scene as of late, between his most recent release with Lane 8 and a packed touring schedule supporting ODESZA. Just last week, he released his newest track entitled “Howl,” a nostalgic single in collaboration with fellow UK artist, Tourist. The Grammy-award winning songwriter and artist (Tourist) most recently released a beautiful recreation of The Range‘s “Bicameral” and moves forward into 2023 with increasing momentum.

Elderbrook’s delicate, emotional vocal performance blends with pulsing synth chords to create a dynamic soundscape of melodic depth. Meshing their influences so effortlessly, both artists leave their personal imprint on the track. Tourist’s pop instinct is reflected through hooky production, complimented by the classic nostalgic sentiment from Elderbrook.

Elderbrook reflected on his inspiration behind the track, commenting “Howl is written about my daughter, Adaline. How she would find it difficult to sleep and how it has been difficult to leave her.”
