Gryffin is one artists that always seems to have something fresh in the works. Having ended 2018 with his impressive six-track Gravity Pt. 1 EP, today the TSIS favorite has teamed up with none other than multi-talented superstar Aloe Blacc on an impressive new single “Hurt People”.
We’ve been waiting on this one ever since Gryffin brought Aloe Blacc out to perform both their new track and an incredible Avicii tribute at Coachella weekend two. Starting off slow with AB’s passionate vocals atop a gentle piano melody, Gryffin masterfully layers punchy acoustic percussion, lush, atmospheric soundscapes and bright, warbling guitar – effortlessly rolling the song throughout crisp, emotional verses and vast, vibrant crescendos.
