Hippie Sabotage went full hip-hop with their latest collaborative EP Hentai alongside the LA-based rapper Azizi Gibson. Since the brothers from California abruptly broke into the scene with their remix of Tove Lo’s “Stay High”, they have released multiple full length albums including 2016’s “Providence” and 2017’s “Drifter”. However, this most recent package is a side of Hippie Sabotage that we're not as familiar with. The three tracks are in collaboration with Azizi Gibson, who was introduced to site last October with his single “Hopeless”, and who skillfully spits over the production.
The EP consists of three tracks, “Temptation”, “Electric Life” and “Hood Opera”. All three have a different tone but nicely flow into each other. This collaboration was unexpected, but now that it has been delivered, it makes completes sense. A new side of Hippie Sabotage and an impressive addition to Azizi Gibson’s repertoire. Enjoy!
