Jadya G is back! Following her 2023 album, Guy, Jayda has officially begun a new era of music. Her single, “Feeling Alive,” continues this new era, and after being thoroughly road-tested, is finally ready for release.
“Feeling Alive” exudes positivity on another level. Accompanied by a music video featuring Jayda playing the track out live, the energy from her and the incredibly joyous reception from her fans sets the tone for the message and intentions behind “Feeling Alive.” Piano stabs and a free-flowing bass line are guided forward by an energetic house beat, and the rest is all emotion.
Jayda commented on the origins of “Feeling Alive,” sharing:
‘Guy’ was really me exploring and, you know, pushing my sound to the next level. ‘Feeling Alive’ is me kind of taking that into a real pure dance music form. Knowing that my album was largely about loss and grief and death, this is me focussing on the joyful celebratory part of my life, because I know I have a lot of things to be happy for!
